Bambi Daycare has been a leader in home childcare and educational development in this area since 1979.

Bambi Daycare has served not only the Stratford community, but the Devon, North Bridgeport, Trumbull, Shelton and Milford communities as well.

Bambi Daycare provides the one-on-one attention of a warm daycare with all the advantages of a pre-school program. Miriam "Patty" Kant, the owner has a degree in early childhood education, is certified in first aid and CPR and has more than 30 years experience in this field. Safety and education are at the top of her list.

Bambi Daycare has helped scores of children to successfully make the transition from a small learning environment to a big kindergarten class. The daily program is filled with all sorts of educational activities, age oriented and planned for having fun as well as learning. The activities range from basic ABCs, numbers and coloring to rhymes, songs, games, painting, crafts, v-smile educational videos, etc.

Being that "Miss Patty" works with a small group with a limited student/teacher ratio (7/1) she can help each child develop skills at his or her own pace. "Miss Patty" chose childcare as her career because she enjoys watching children grow and develop to their fullest and helping them achieve a good start to a great future.
